Wiltshire Mixed Kwik Cricket Finals Day - Thursday 28th June - Trowbridge CC
Having earned the right to represent the North Wiltshire region by winning the Malmesbury cluster schools' cricket tournament in mid-June, a team of 9 Year 6 students traveled to Trowbridge to take part in the county finals last week.
Under an unforgiving sun the team breezed through their group games, earning a semi-final place.
The children played fantastically, with great team spirit in truly exhausting conditions, but unfortunately their opponents in the semi final proved too strong.
A cooling ice lolly was more than deserved on a sweltering day - Well done, Sherston school cricketers!
