Y3 / Y4 Tag Rugby Tournament
On Wednesday, eight children from year 3 and 4 went to Minety rugby club to compete in the TAG rugby tournament. The children were very excited although many of them were new to rugby and weren't really sure what to expect. Henry soon had them organised and they got stuck in.
Some moments to remember from the day were some great breaks from both Henry, Oscar and Amelie with some excellent tagging from everyone especially Cameron. Lilla got so excited about tagging that she managed to TAG her own brother at one point! Mae nearly scored the most amazing try with a break in her own half and a fantastic run down the left hand side of the pitch but she forgot to put the ball down when she crossed the try line and so wasn't given the try (bit mean I thought!)
All the children played with enthusiasm and great team spirit supporting each other both on and off the pitch. Despite the rain everyone enjoyed the afternoon.
