Learning, Caring and Achieving Together

Environment Area : Allotment and gardens

Come and see our fruit trees, a vegetable growing area and a herb garden outside the kitchen door. Also we have flower gardens grown and maintained by Oak Class (Reception) and Sycamore Class (yr. 6). Our thanks to Whitehall Garden Centre, Sherston Parva Nursery and others for donations over the years. We do all the starting gardening skills of digging, raking, seed sowing, planting, bush pruning, fruit and vegetable picking for in-class tasting and for school lunch!. Yr. 6 go one step further; they undertake a design and plant project. This is a legacy of former pupil, Hannah Clegg, who won a national competition and co-designed the Great British Garden at London 2012.
