Environment Area : Chill-out zone & Outdoor Classroom

Learn in the outdoors! Bench seating big enough to seat an entire class, made from donated timber offcuts from Clapcote Forestry, together with a wood chip ‘stage’ floor.
The Chill-out Zone is still under construction, but begins with the concept of a quiet, reflective and spiritual area. A willow hedge and tunnel have been started. A board for wall art and herb planting are planned, adding to a variety of wild flowers already planted including those attractive to bees and butterflies. Thanks to the Willetts family for donating some superb benches and stools, John Matthews for the willow cuttings, and donations from the village of all the herbs and wild flowers.  The Chill-out Zone is situated on the reclaimed verge of Sopworth Road.
