Meet Our Team

Introducing our Committee...

There are many people who make the FSS the success that it is. Among them are the committee members. Here's a 'who's who' guide to this lovely group of parents and a little bit about why they joined the FSS. Huge thanks to their children who kindly took pencil to paper to provide us with their profile pictures!

Chair, Lauren Kiddell

Lauren is mum to Raffy (Yr 2, Maple Class) and Darcy (Reception, Oak Class).

"I've been an active parent at Sherston School since my son joined two years ago, enjoying all the opportunities to be involved. Both my husband and I feel very fortunate to have formed some great friendships, with much fun to be had at many an FSS event. Even before my time as a parent, my association with other Early Years provisions in the community found me volunteering and supporting with many a crazy creative idea at Christmas Fairs or similar!

"I really feel my time as part of such a successful and innovative group of fundraisers and supporters of the school, has prepared me well for the role of Chair. I'm very much looking forward to steering this ship for the year ahead and I'm hoping I get to meet and welcome many new faces into the FSS for the 2019/2020 Fundraising year."

Secretary, Sarah Nelson

Sarah is mum to Rafe (Yr 3, Maple Class) and Saffia (Yr 2, Rowan Class).

"I joined the FSS because I could see that although the school does everything it can to provide an amazing education for our children, along with as many extra-curricular activities as possible, there's only so much it can do within its budget. So the FSS is here to play an important role in providing our children with opportunities they deserve but might not otherwise get, and also vital resources to help their learning."

Treasurer, Penny Robinson

Penny is mum to Michael (Yr 3, Maple Class) and Daniel (Yr 1, Rowan Class).

"I joined the FSS to help out and meet more parents. I really enjoy getting involved with all the events and also attending them, especially the Quiz and Olympic day!"

We'd love to have you on board...
