COMPUTING / MUSIC

Have a go at using an online / electronic method of making your own piece of music. Experiment with music lab - song maker or rhythm sections. Try it out to see how it works.

If you have an ipad you could try GarageBand.

REMEMBER TO USE YOUR HEADPHONES OR GO IN ANOTHER ROOM IF YOU CAN SO YOU DON'T DRIVE EVERYONE IN YOUR HOUSE BONKERS!

ART

A bit like the Ancient Egyptians, the Ancient Mayans used glyphs (or pictures) to represent letters and words. Lots of sounds we have today weren't in the Mayan language and so we can only make a guess at which glyphs might mean which letters.

I have attached a sheet which shows some approximate glyphs for the letters in our alphabet.

Have a go at writing your name using the glyphs. Maybe you could send me a coded message.
