Events
FSS fundraising events provide us with a great opportunity to raise money for Sherston School. On this page, you can find out about upcoming events as well as find out about money that was raised from past events.
Upcoming Events
The next event in the FSS calendar is our popular annual quiz night. Taking place at Sherston Village Hall on Saturday 20th April, this is set to be a night of fun and laughter. Burgers and a well stocked bar available on the night. Cash and card accepted. Contact us at fss@sherston.wilts.sch.uk if you'd like to reserve a table for the evening.
Past Events
In December 2023, the FSS organised a Christmas raffle followed by a Christmas Fair held at the school. The raffle alone raised £1400 and the Fair raised £900.
In June 2023, the annual Olympic Day event raised £2740 and the quiz which took place in April 2023 raised a total of £1950.
All of these funds have contributed towards the cost of classroom resources and educational equipment as well as supporting the cost of class trips.
Business Sponsorship
In addition to the money raised through ticket sales and event activities, we also benefit from the generous support of local businesses who provide donations for our raffles and auctions, as well as valuable sponsorship.
