Term 1
This term our topic is Me and You, You and Me. We will be exploring characteristics of animals and humans in Science.
In History, we will be learning about Delia, a passenger on the ill-fated 'Titanic'. We'll learn how the class sytem worked in 1912 and how it affected the people on the Titanic.
In English, we'll be reading the books Ruby's Worry and Dogger exploring feelings and emotions as well as creating our own narratives.
In maths we'll be focusing on the essential skills of Place Value and Addition and Subtraction.
Art will focus on self portraits and in Music we'll be linking Music to food (Yum!). In RE we'll learn about Christianity and the parable of the Lost Son and in PSHE we'll be focusing on how to 'Be Yourself'.
