    Term 1

This term, our class is focusing on settling into new routines, building friendships, and exploring traditional fairy tales like The Three Billy Goats Gruff, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk. Alongside our classic stories, we will dive into Twinkl Phonics Level 2, early mathematics with sorting, measuring, and patterns, and hands-on science topics like "Me in my small world." Our learning is supported by creative subjects, including expressive dance, exploring emotions through music, and RE topics focused on special people in our lives. We also have plenty of exciting practical activities planned, such as cross-mid-line movement exercises, planting seeds, making porridge, and sharing family and autumn walk photos from home.
