    Extreme Earth: Volcanoes

    This term we will continue our work on Extreme Earth focusing on volcanoes. We will explore the volcanoes found in Iceland.

    Term 4

    Battle of Britain

    This term we travel back to World War 2.  We will explore what life was like in Britain during the Battle of Britain, including the lives of children who were evacuated, rationing and the roles of women in the war.

    Term 5

    Magnificent Mountains

    This term we explore mountains and their formation. In English, we will base our work on Michael Morpurgo's 'King of the Cloud Forests'. 

    Term 6

    Ancient Egyptians

    We travel back to Ancient Egypt and explore the pyramids, pharaohs and ancient gods. Archaeological finds, and their importance are discussed including Howard Carter's discovery in 1922.
