  • Tree planting with Sustainable Sherston

    Wed 25 May 2022

In May our Year 5 children joined Richard Skeffington and Sarah Nelson from Sustainable Sherston to plant new trees on the school ground. The trees including a Willow, Silver Birch, Flowering Cherry and Rowan tree were generously donated by Sustainable Sherston through a grant from Wessex Water.

More tree planting is planned, along with hedgehog, bird boxes and a wildflower meadow on the school site. News to follow on these over the coming months.

Huge thanks to Sustainable Sherston and Wessex Water for donating these trees to the school and to Richard and Sarah for their giving their time and expertise for the children to take part in this special experience.

  • Young Voices 2022

    Wed 25 May 2022

On Friday 20th May 36 of our KS2 children took part in an incredible evening of singing and performance with 5000 other school children from around the country at the Young Voices 2022 children’s choir concert in Birmingham.

We are so immensely proud of them all! A big thank you to all our parents and carers who were supporting them in the audience.

Also a special thank you to our very own master of music, Mrs Berry, for making this experience possible for the children.
