Wraparound Care
Sherston School offers wraparound care for working parents
'Early Bird' Club
We have an in-school 'Early Bird' club for parents who need to drop their children off before the start of the school day. Run by one of our Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Linda Sheppard, the club is open Monday-Friday from 7.45-8.45am. Each session costs £5.
There are a variety of activities on offer for the children to enjoy, from art and craft, to LEGO, board games and outdoor activities. We are not able to provide breakfast, but children are very welcome to bring a packed breakfast to eat at the club if they would like to.
Bookings are made on a termly basis (minimum of one session per week). Please contact the school office for more details or to book your child's place.
After School Wraparound Care - September 2024
We are excited to launch our own on-site wraparound care in September 2024. More details can be found in the letter below.
'The Camp' After School Club
Our after school club provider is situated just a few minutes from the school and children are collected by 'The Camp' minibus every day. They have a snack/drink on arrival and a freshly prepared cooked meal for dinner.
A wide variety of toys, games, art/craft and physical play opportunities, role play, books, music and more are available at every session. There are pre planned activities chosen by the children during group discussions, and an outdoor area for sand, water, messy play and den building. The team are very happy to help and support children with home learning projects as well.
