Free School Meals & Pupil Premium Funding
We believe all children deserve the very best education no matter what their background, and we continuously monitor the progress of all our pupils to ensure that they are achieving their full potential.
All children in reception and KS1 (Y1 & 2) are entitled to free meals under the government's ‘Universal Infant Free School Meals’ scheme. If your family receives any benefits such as income support or job seekers allowance then your child might also be entitled to free school meals in Key Stage 2 (Y3-6), saving you nearly £500 per year. If you child is eligible then the school will also receive additional funding called pupil premium worth £1,385 per pupil per year which we use to improve educational outcomes for your child, for example by:

If you think you may be eligible please let the school office know so we can factor this into our planning for the academic year.
