Mid Wilts Primary Schools' Football Festival
On the 5th December ten children from Sherston attended the Mid Wilts Primary Schools' football festival at Stanley Park, Chippenham. This was a fun tournament aimed at children who don't play club football. It was a wonderful chance for children to shine and shine they did! All ten of them put their hearts and souls into the games and played some very impressive football. I think they surprised themselves when they won their first match 4 -0. They all had a go at different positions and there were some fabulous goals. Nine teams participated and Sherston came third overall. My player of the tournament was Barnaby for never giving up!
